::NOVEMBER 19th 2010::

Today is a great day! 85 years ago my mom's mother was born. My Nana had a great birthday lunch out in her trendy St. Lawrence neighbourhood stomping grounds with my mom and bro. She's an awesome lady and everyone loves her so much (especially me, but especially everyone) so I thought I'd give her a big vankayak.com happy 85th Birthday up here on the blog. Happy Birthday Nana!

Another reason today rocks is because I'm pluggin' away on the kilometers down here in Florida and it's going really well. This week we'll paddle more kms than last, and the same will hopefully be true of the next two weeks. I have a magic number in mind for fall kms this year... when I hit it, I'll let you know!

Third and final reason today is wicked is because my new CBC Radio 3 Podcast dropped and it's tight. CLICK RIGHT HERE or on the photo below to have a listen, or to download it onto your favourite portable listening device and listen while you are running, sitting on the subway, or juggling chainsaws.

The rad CBC R3 dudes did this little picture up. Click and Listen So it's a good day. I hope tomorrow will be great! Make yourself a great one!

So, after travelling with you on all those portages (I especially liked the section you did on cross-country skis, nice visual with kayak dragging behind) I learned that you and Dan Mangan both adore author Kurt Vonnegut. 2Q: Q1 - Favorite novel? Q2 - Which one to read first for a KV noob?
Keep bringing it in Florida.

It does not follow that because we do not subsidize smoking, we should not regulate unhealthy activities. Costs and savings are not the only variable. The fact that obesity creates costs is merely an additional reason to regulate it, not the only one. The main reason is its danger to an individual. ugwaqb ugwaqb - justin bieber shoes.
