Florida Spring Training Camp 2010

Hey from Florida. This is my new boat... it's a NELO Vanquish III, fresh from Portugal, thanks guys!! Those are World Champion stripes around my cockpit, the kayaking world is desperately trying to steal something from the cycling world... they can keep their arm warmers, doping infractions and skinny little upper bodies. We just want your stripes!

Training has been good, thanks for asking. I've been listening to some really good new music, namely Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and some new Hawksley Workman (we'll make time), and mostly anything on cbcradio3. If you're more of a radio 2 person, then check out George Strombo's playlist here, as I find he's always had an excellent handle on what's new and worth a listen. Broken Social Scene's new World Sick is a pretty great forecast of an awesome album to come. I just found out that BSS will be in Cologne the same week I'm in Duisburg in May... maybe I'll get on the train and go check em out, or maybe BSS wants to play their very first Kanu Welt Cup? Longshot, but I'm looking into it.
