:CANADIAN ATHLETES NOW:

The CAN fund (Canadian Athletes Now) is running a campaign to raise money for Canadian Athletes. They're asking for donations of $8 (or $80, or $8000, whatever you like!)... Since the Olympic Opening Ceremonies are August 8th, 2008 (08.08.08). The CAN fund was instrumental throughout my preparation for Athens in 2004, and they're continuing to do great things to ensure that Canadian Athletes aren't falling below the poverty line.
